• わくわくする研究への挑戦 Challenges for exciting researches

  研究はこれまでになかったものを生み出す、楽しいものであるべきと考えています。そのためには、ゼロからイチをつくり、新しい付加価値を創造することに挑戦する必要があります。

  We believe that research should be exciting and create something that has never existed before. To achieve this, we need to challenge ourselves to create new added value by creating something from scratch.

• 課題解決型の思考 Problem-solving thinking

  背景を理解し現状のボトルネックとなっている課題を明らかにする、解決へ向けた仮説を立てる、仮説検証のための実験等を行う、結果を考察し、再び仮説を立てる、といった一連の研究プロセスを身につけることができれば多様な研究ができるはずです。

  If you can master the research process of understanding the background and identifying the current bottleneck issue, building up a hypothesis to solve the problem, conducting experiments to test the hypothesis, discussing the results, and making the hypothesis again, you should be able to conduct a variety of research.

• 自ら作る立場 Position to create your own

  研究室は協働の場であり、各々が考えながら動かないといけません。周りの人とのコミュニケーションの取り方、集団の中での自分の役割など、卒業後も使える考え方、立ち振舞を学んでほしいと思います。

  The laboratory is a place of collaboration, and each of us must think and act accordingly. We hope you will learn how to communicate with those around you, your role in the group, and other ways of thinking and behaving that you can use even after graduation.
